RENEWAL ADDENDUM FOR AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF FRESNO AND THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA SOCIETY
FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS
[July 1 , 2015, through June 30,2016; Renewable annually through June 30, 2018]
This Renewal Addendum for the Agreement between the City of Fresno and the Central
California Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, effective as of July 1 ,2015,
is entered by and between the CITY OF FRESNO, a municipal corporation, ("City") and
the CENTRAL CALIFORNIA SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO
ANIMALS, a duly organized and qualified California nonprofit public benefit corporation
("Society") (collectively referred to as "Parties").
RECITALS
The Parties entered into an Agreement between the City of Fresno and the
Central California Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, effective March 1,
2014, ("Agreement") whereas Society was to provide City with all animal control, pound
master, veterinary and animal sheltering services, facilities and related activities
authorized and required by applicable law;
The Agreement is currently due to expire on June 30, 2015; and
The Parties desire to renew and extend the Agreement for one additional year on
the same terms and conditions; and
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the above recitals, which recitals are
contractual in nature, the mutual promises contained herein, and for other good and
valuable consideration hereby acknowledged, the Parties agree as follows:
1. The Agreement between Society and City shall be renewed and extended for
one additional year beginning on July 1 , 2015, and ending on June 30, 2016.
2. Except as otherwise provided herein, the Agreement remains in full force and
effect.
