RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends thatthe City Council approve. 1) the 2009 National Event Lloense Agreement for BMX
racing at designated City BMX nclks, 2) the 2009 Golden State BMX Association Agreement for BMX mb N
at designated City BMX tracks for allowance & competitive mcN at Cityavned Facilites.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Parks, After -School, Reveaion, and Community Services Department (PARCS) is requesting approval M
Ne allaMed agreements with Me National Bicycle League, Inc. (N%) for national & state BMX racing events.
Fresno is me of 27 cities in the United States and Iwo in Calibmia selected to host a National BMX racelast

and a Service Provider contract for Me Fresno Bicycle Cross (FBX) to partner wiM PARCS is maintaining and
