FIRST AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT (Amendment) made and entered into effect
the 1st day of October 2020, between the CITY OF FRESNO, a California municipal
corporation (City), and Fresno County Economic Opportunities Commission, a
California corporation (Consultant).
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City and the Consultant entered into an agreement on February 1,
2020 (Agreement), to provide professional Homeless Employment Services for the
Homeless Emergency Aid Program (Project); and
WHEREAS, the City and the Consultant desire to modify the Agreement;
WHEREAS, the parties have negotiated a revised Scope of Services and Budget with
a reduction in tasks and related reduction of the total fee for Consultant's compensation for
services related to the Project; and
WHEREAS, with entry into this Amendment, the Consultant agrees it has no claim,
demand, or dispute against the City.
AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree that the aforesaid Agreement be amended
as follows:
1. The recitals to this Amendment are incorporated and made a part of this
Amendment.
2. The Agreement is effective date is modified to October 1, 2020.
3. The Consultant’s scope of work is modified as specified in Exhibit A.
4. The total compensation for this work for this Agreement is reduced to $76,122.
5. Except as otherwise provided herein, the Agreement remains in full force and
effect until June 30, 2021.
