A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO
MAKING THE THIRTEENTH AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION
NO. 2003-213 ENTITLED "A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF FRESNO ESTABLISHING RULES FOR THE
APPLICATION OF CITY EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION RATES AND
SCHEDULES AND RELATED REQUIREMENTS, AND
ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION RATES AND SCHEDULES"
WHEREAS, the Police Department has utilized a temporary part-time employee to assist the
Vice/Intelligence Unit with coordinating and managing the Prostitution Abatement and Rehabilitation
(PAR)Program; and
WHEREAS,the revenue from this program pays the City's$40,000 contribution pledge of support
to the Marjaree Mason Center, as well as covering the cost of the support personnel; and
WHEREAS,the needs of the program have grown to the point where the department needs, and
can support, a permanent full-time position.; and
WHEREAS, Council approved the addition of a PAR Program Specialist position on April 13,
2004;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fresno as follows:
SECTION 1.
Page 3.4 of Exhibit 3, of Resolution No. 2003-213 is hereby amended to reflect the following
change:

SECTION 2.
This amendment shall become effective and in full force and effect as of May 25, 2003.
