HomeMy WebLinkAboutRTF FFD Rostering and Deployment Rostering the Task Force Refer to RTF-5 deployment calendar for department’s monthly responsibilities Print TeleStaff daily roster (must open TeleStaff in Google Chrome for it to print correctly) Make contact with BC to confirm the order number (email) has been received and that a TFL is being contacted Make agency contact, direct the agency contact to have the agency RTF rep call in to a conference call at a predetermined time to confirm: availability of personnel, equipment, and verify position obligations. Refer BC to page 2 of 204.6 Procedures for Recalling Off-Duty Members. After opening the message-media via the BC desk top use drop down menu to select US&R members. o Text shall direct member who are interested in deploying to add their names to the “Special Assignment list” with in a pre-determined time base on immediate need vs planed need deployment. Ie 5 min vs 1 hour. Fill FFD roster from on duty personnel first based on availability and specialty qualifications ie SB Squad Boss, SM Search Manager, TSS Tech Search Spec, RM Rescue Manager, HM Haz Mat, HERS Heavy Equipment Rigging Spec. Qualifications are found on attached personnel list. Document all rostered personnel on the RTF organization chart as well as on a transportation plan and prepare for TFL o Hiring of off duty personnel shall go by specialty qualifications first and OT hours second Deployment All FFD personnel will meet at sta 11. Work with BC to move on duty personnel Locate a tow vehicle for LOGs trailer Tulare or Fresno County may be bringing a ¾ vehicle capable of towing the trailer. If no vehicle is located U1 or U2 may be put in place of R211 and R211 used to tow LOGs trailer. ¾ ton vehicle or lager will be required. NOTE: the LOGs trailer is a 2 5/16 ball The Swift Water equipment may need to be removed from trailer depending on incident type and space in the trailer Assign rostered personnel to apparatus in accordance with transportation plan placing one company officer in charge of each apparatuse.
