APPLICATION This procedure applies to all officers and acting officers administering daily station activities. OPERATIONAL POLICY This section intentionally left blank . OPERATIONAL GUIDELINE The company officer should assign members to work incidental to the cleaning and maintenance of quarters and apparatus, equalizing the duties as nearly as possible. When two or more company officers are located in the same quarters, the senior officer is the commanding officer. The commanding officer should confer with the other company officer(s) in regards to repairs, supplies, upkeep of quarters, and daily activities, and to be responsible for the proper conduct of business. The care and discipline exercised in its own quarters should govern a company while located in other quarters. Political candidates should not be allowed in fire stations, or other work locations, to address Department members concerning their candidacy for office. • Participating in political campaign promotions during assigned duty hours is not permitted.
