RESOLUTION NO. 2019-063
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRESNO, CALIFORNIA, URGING THE FRESNO CITY
EMPLOYEES HEALTH AND WELFARE TRUST TO APPROVE
A KAISER OPTION.
WHEREAS, the hardworking employees of the City of Fresno deserve to have
expanded healthcare options offered to them and their families; and
WHEREAS, the Health and Welfare Trust Board has an opportunity to expand
healthcare options for City of Fresno employees by adding a Kaiser option at their next
board meeting on April 9, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fresno as
follows:
1. The Council urges the Health and Welfare Trust to approve a Kaiser
option for City of Fresno employees that would become effective in July 2019.
2. This Resolution shall be effective upon its adoption.
