Badertscher, Management Analyst II PURPOSE These guidelines are intended to facilitate the ability to obtain groceries, water or other station supplies when a visit to a store is necessary. APPLICATION This section left intentionally blank. OPERATIONAL POLICY This section left intentionally blank. OPERATIONAL GUIDELINE 1. Members should use the nearest shopping center in their district to obtain needed supplies. If members desire to take advantage of specials or lower prices elsewhere, off-duty time should be used. Any deviation from these guidelines must be approved by a battalion chief. 2. Purchase of alcohol, even for cooking, is strictly prohibited. 3. Professional conduct is expected at all times. 4. Fire apparatus should be parked in such a way as to provide safe, efficient emergency response. Parking apparatus in “No Parking Zones” is prohibited under non-emergency situations. 5.
