3. The battery charge and temperature displays are located at the bottom of
the screen.
4. To use the standby mode, press the power button for one to five seconds
and release when the screen reads: Release for Stand-by.
5. To turn the TIC off, press and hold the power button for more than five
seconds. The screen will read: Hold to Power Down. The screen will go
blank when the camera is off.
6. The Drager TIC has a 2x zoom feature. To zoom in, quickly press the mode
button. To return to a normal view quickly, press the mode button.
Depressing the mode button for longer than two seconds will allow the user
to change the color palette of the screen.
7. The Drager TIC has a thermal scan feature, which searches for elevated
temperatures not high enough to show up in firefighter mode. To activate
the thermal scan, press either the up or down arrow button for
approximately one second to raise or lower to the desired ambient
temperature range. Ranges can go from 244 degrees Fahrenheit to -33
degrees Fahrenheit. Holding down the arrow button will change the desired
temperature faster. To deactivate the thermal scan, press and hold both
arrows for approximately two seconds. The thermal scan threshold will
disappear from the screen and return to normal mode.
8. To charge the batteries, place the TIC into the charging cradle lens first.
Drager recommends always charging the battery when not in use. There is
no loss of capacity due to memory effect, and the battery will be charged
when needed.
