PROCESS Operating Procedure for Starting the Rescue Boat 1. If starting the boat on dry land, ensure the motor is supplied with water by the garden hose hook- up. Section 306.015 Page 1 of 3 2. Insert safety boat kill wrist strap. 3. Ensure the boat is in neutral, with throttle in start position. 4. Pump fuel primer bulb until firm and full of fuel. 5. Ensure motor trim is locked in the down position. Section 306.015 Page 2 of 3 6. Pull the starting cord. * Use (2) two hands to avoid injury due to high compression of the four-stroke motor. 7.
