PURPOSE
Outline the care and use of the Rescue Boat.
APPLICATION
The Rescue Boat is used for rescues involving large bodies of water.

PROCESS
Operating Procedure for Starting the Rescue Boat
1. If starting the boat on dry land,
ensure the motor is supplied with
water by the garden hose hook-
up.

2. Insert safety boat kill wrist strap.
3. Ensure the boat is in neutral, with
throttle in start position.
4. Pump fuel primer bulb until firm
and full of fuel.
5. Ensure motor trim is locked in the
down position.

6. Pull the starting cord.
* Use (2) two hands to avoid injury
due to high compression of
the four-stroke motor.
7. Throttle up and away you go.
8. To shut down, pull the boat kill
wrist strap out.
