RESOLUTION NO. 93-39
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRESNO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE WOODWARD
PARK COMMUNITY PLAN (PLAN AMENDMENT
NO. A-92-19)
WHEREAS, on December 5, 1989, by Resolution No. 89-464, the
Council adopted the Woodward Park Community Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Development Department has received an
application from John and Mary Gabelica to amend the land use
designation of the aforementioned plan from Office to Neighborhood
Commercial for one acre located on the west side of North Eleventh
Street between East Herndon and East Spruce Avenues; and
WHEREAS, the environmental assessment conducted for the
proposed plan amendment resulted in the filing of a Mitigated
Negative Declaration; and
WHEREAS, on January 13, 1993 , the Planning Commission held a
public hearing to consider Plan Amendment No . A-92-19 and
recommended adoption of the proposed Mitigated Negative
Declaration and plan amendment; and
WHEREAS, on January 26, 1993 , the Council held a public
hearing to consider Plan Amendment No. A-92-19 and determined,
based upon the testimony and information presented at the hearing
and upon review and consideration of the environmental
documentation provided, that the adoption of the proposed
amendment is in the best interest of the City of Fresno.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Fresno as follows :

1. The Council finds that there is no substantial evidence
in the record that Plan Amendment No . A-92-19 may have a
significant effect on the. environment and hereby adopts
the Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for this
project .
2 . The Council of the City of Fresno hereby adopts Plan
Amendment No. A-92-19, amending the Woodward Park
Community Plan as depicted on Exhibit "A, " attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
