RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO,
CALIFORNIA, INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
ANNUAL LEVY OF ASSESSMENT FOR LANDSCAPING
AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. I AND APPROVING THE CITY
ENGINEER'S REPORT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fresno, California, that:
WHEREAS, City of Fresno Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance District No.
1 (herein "LLMD No.V) provides certain services regarding landscaping in the public domain
of special benefit to areas within the City of Fresno (herein "City"); and
WHEREAS, LLMD No. 1 was formed on March 22, 1983, by Resolution
No. 83-93 of the City Council of the City of Fresno (herein "Council"); and
WHEREAS, the City has subsequently levied annual assessments; and
WHEREAS, proceedings for the levy of the annual assessment for LLMD
No. 1 for the Fiscal Year 1995-96, as authorized by law, need to be initiated;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED
as follows:
1. The Council proposes to undertake proceedings for the levy of the annual
assessment for LLMD No. 1 under Part 2 of Division 15 of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California (Section 22500 et seq.), generally known as the Landscaping and Lighting
Act of 1972 (herein "Act").

2. Additional territory has been annexed with new improvements generally described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, added by the annexation of said territory by Resolution No. 95-
adopted April 11, 1995. Such new improvements and any substantial changes in
existing improvements, to the extent applicable, have been included in the report of the Engineer
as required in Section 3 hereof.
3. The City Engineer has prepared and filed the report required in
accordance with Article 4 (commencing with Section 22565) of the Act, and the Council upon
review and consideration does hereby approve the Engineer's Report.

[2] Landscaping and irrigation system along South Peach and East Church Avenues and
in the East Belgravia Avenue entryway, adjacent to Tract 4057 in the County of Fresno as

[3] Landscaping and irrigation system along South Clovis and East Church Avenues,
adjacent to Tract 4377 in the County of Fresno as shown on City of Fresno street plan,dwg. nos.
15-C-8348 through 8358.
[4]Landscaping and irrigation system along West Bullard Avenue, adjacent to Tract 4439
in the County of Fresno as shown on City of Fresno street plan dwg. nos. 15-C-8773 through
