RESOLUTION NO. 96-67
A RESOLUTION OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZING THE
MAYFAIR/YOSEMITE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS,the City of Fresno is committed to building partnerships with its neighborhoods to encourage the
process of neighborhood revitalization;and
WHEREAS,members of the Mayfair/Yosemite Neighborhood Association have organized themselves in an
effort to lead the process of revitalizing their own neighborhood;and
WHEREAS,the Mayfair/Yosemite Neighborhood Association represents an area bounded by Freeway 41,
East McKinley Avenue and the alignments of Freeways 180 and 168;and
WHEREAS,the Mayfair/Yosemite Neighborhood Association,has demonstrated its commitment to building
constructive partnerships,projects and programs that will improve conditions in the neighborhood;and
WHEREAS,the Mayfair/Yosen-ite Neighborhood Association has adopted bylaws which ensure basic fairness,
allow for maximum public input,and encourage creative solutions to neighborhood problems.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Fresno City Council officially recognizes the
Mayfair/Yosemite Neighborhood Association as a fully certified partner in the Neighborhood Revitalization Program
entitled to all the rights and privileges thereof.
