RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE
OFFER OF THE GRANT AGREEMENT FOR AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PROJECT NO.
3-06-0087-28, THE ANNUAL ENTITLEMENT GRANT
WHEREAS, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, acting through the DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION,FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION,has offered a Grant,Agreement to the
City of Fresno for Airport Improvement Program Project No. 3-06-0087-28 for the following:
Construction ofthe expanded Concourse,Terminal,and Baggage Claim Building,upgrade the Terminal
Security System,Update the Airport's Pavement Management Plan, procure protective"turnouts" for
the Airport Rescue and Firefighting crews, and improve airfield signage.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO, subject
to the grant offer being received from the FAA, that Part I - Offer of the Grant Agreement for Airport
Improvement Program Project No. 3-06-0087-28 is hereby approved and accepted when received, and the
Director of Transportation is hereby authorized and directed to sign and execute Part II-Acceptance of the
Grant Agreement on behalf of the City of Fresno
