GENERAL INFORMATION
Through generous donations of community members, the Fresno Fire Department
(FFD or Department) is able to equip all frontline and reserve apparatus with one pet
oxygen kit. These kits will not be included as part of the standard inventory and are
to be carried on Department apparatus as long as supplies last.
The kits are designed for re-use; however, a thorough cleaning is necessary after
use. Kits can be cleaned with soap and water, a disinfectant, or a 10:1 bleach and
water solution.
The kit contains three (3) different-sized masks, oxygen tubing, and a laminated
reference sheet. The pet oxygen masks can be used with a bag valve mask if CPR
