SECTION 303.008 CASCADE FIRE EQUIPMENT CF-130 PUMP
MANUFACTURERS OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
PURPOSE
To provide an illustrated manufacturer’s guide to operating and troubleshooting the
CF-130 centrifugal pump currently installed on Fresno Fire Department (FFD or
Department) Apparatus Numbers 63 and 64.

INFORMATION
Patrol Apparatus No. 63, and Patrol Apparatus No. 64 each have gasoline auxiliary
pump engines.
Patrol auxiliary pumps (Apparatus Nos. 63 and 64), each have their own fuel tank
mounted adjacent to the pump engine.

23-Horsepower Pump and Motor
The CF-130 is a centrifugal pump powered by a 23-horsepower Briggs and Stratton
Vanguard engine. The engine has manual recoil and a 12-volt electric starter.
