PURPOSE
Track and document fire hoses and salvage covers located on apparatus at fire
stations for Fresno Fire Department (FFD or Department).
APPLICATION
Captain’s to complete annually at the end of May after hose testing and repair.
OPERATIONAL POLICY
Station captains are to ensure inventories for hose and salvage covers on apparatus
and the fire station are documented on the FD -29 at the completion of hose testing.
OPERATIONAL GUIDELINE

PROCESS
Use FD-29 located in Fire Station Folders. Update inventories when items are
replaced through the year. Make sure to save the document in the appropriate Fire
Station folder for the year completed.
