SECTION 106.030 (PRIORITY TARGET HAZARDS LOCATION [FD-12])
PURPOSE
Identification of and dissemination of information regarding priority target hazards
provides for added safety while mitigating emergencies
APPLICATION
To be utilized for the identification of priority target hazards associated with a specific
occupancy or premise.
OPERATIONAL POLICY
This section intentionally left blank.
OPERATIONAL GUIDELINE
Company officers who may identify specific hazards at a premise or occupancy which
would present significant challenges to mitigating potential incidents should utilize the
FD-12 to document the locations of priority target hazards.
PROCESS
1. List on the form Station, Shift, and Company Officer submitting the
information.
2. Identify whether the location is an addition or deletion of priority target
hazard’s location.
3. List on the form the Occupancy Number, Address, doing business as
(DBA), and the reason for adding the location to the list.
4. Route to the battalion chief responsible for the Target Hazard Program.
