Badertscher Management Analyst II PURPOSE In order to maintain safety and readiness, Urban Search and Rescue (US&R) emergency equipment will be checked each Sunday with the regular Sunday emergency equipment listed on Administrative Manual, Section 106.029, Emergency Equipment Weekly Inspection Report, FD-11. APPLICATION Administrative Manual, Section 106.134, US&R Emergency Equipment Checklist, FD-72, and US&R Water Rescue Equipment Checklist, FD-72.1, have a list of each checkout item. OPERATIONAL POLICY The completed Administrative Manual, Section 106.134, US&R Emergency Equipment Checklist, FD-72, and US&R Water Rescue Equipment Checklist, FD- 72.1, forms will be signed by the captains from both engine and truck companies and forwarded to the US&R supervising battalion chief for review and approval. Following review and approval, the battalion chief will return the forms to the US&R station where they will be filed. OPERATIONAL GUIDELINE This section left intentionally blank.
