SECTION 206.004 STATION COMMUNITY ROOM RESERVATION
PURPOSE
The purpose of this policy is to establish guidelines for public use of Fresno Fire
Department (FFD or Department) fire station community rooms.
APPLICATION
The Department currently has three fire stations (15, 16, and 17) that have community
rooms available to the public. These rooms provide an opportunity for groups to meet in a
convenient and secure location.
OPERATIONAL POLICY
It is the Department’s policy to provide access to these community rooms through a
reservation process, allowing the community to use the facility space during designated
hours. The hours of availability are from 0800 to 2000 hours.

PROCESS
The process of reserving a room begins with scanning the QR code, which will be
posted on the window near the front door at the stations above. The link provides
access to the Community Room Application, which asks for the following information:
1. Name of Organization
2. Contact Name
3. Contact Email
4. Contact Phone Number
5. Requested Date

6. Number of Attendees
7. Reason for Booking
8. Reservation Hours
9. Proof of Insurance
a. City Insurance can be purchased.
i. Allow for no less than fifteen (15) days for City review and
approval.
10. Signed Liability Waiver
Once all of the information has been entered, it will be forwarded to our Community
Outreach Specialist (COS) member. Once received, the calendar will be reviewed for
availability and the COS member will follow up with the designated contact person to
collect the payment of $45 per hour/two-hour minimum or a $45 flat fee for nonprofit
organizations. Once payment is received, the reservation will be added to the Outlook
Station Calendar to include all of the information provided in the Community Room
Application. It will be the station captains’ responsibility to check the Outlook Station
Calendar every day to ensure the room is ready and available for reservations.
