Advise Law Enforcement Anytime a department vehicle is involved in an accident, per Administrative Manual, Section 106.014, Automobile Accident or Loss (FD -05). Special Notifications Special notifications may take place at any time. Recall When more than 50% of the available in-service resources within the City of Fresno are committed to emergency operations for more than 30 minutes, contact on -duty BC's and Duty Chief. Upon direction of the BC or Duty Chief, a recall shall be initiated. 1. Advise on-duty battalion chiefs and the on-call duty officer when conditions indicate initiation of a recall. Upon authorization for recall, the Communications supervisor shall coordinate the recall at the Emergency Services Communications Center. If the Communications Center is unable to complete the recall due to workload or staffing, it shall be delegated in the following order: a. ARFF members at the Air Rescue Station. b. On-duty battalion chief to complete the recall from an office or his/her vehicle mobile computer. 2. Apparatus placed in-service with recalled members should be identified by the relief apparatus designator (i.e. Engine 204, Tower 210, etc.). 3. Ascertain the number and rank of member(s) to be recalled. 4. Ascertain the location where the recalled members are to report. 5. Determine the group of individuals to be recalled. 6.
