'1' HE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of
uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, the Council hereby initiates,
on i'ts own motion, proceedings to annex the hereinafter-described
uninhabited territory to the City of Fresno.
SECTION 2. The Local Agency Formation Commission of Fresno
County has heretofore approved the application for the proposed
annexation herein initiated, and the proceedings therefor are
initiated, and shall be conducted and completed, in accordance
.,./ith the determinations of said Commission in its resolution of
approval.
SECTION 3. Notice is given that _______ A~p~r_i_]_._2~5--_1 19~~,

Street, Fresno, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place

hereinafter-described territory.
SECTION 4. The Council IS reasons for desiring the annexation
are to facilitate the orderly and planned growth of the city and
to make available to said territory municipal services for
developments therein.
SECTION 5. The uninhabited territory herein proposed to be
annexed is designated Bullard-Marks No. 4 Annexation
and consists of that real property situated in the county of
Fresno, stato of Cnlifornia, the boundaries of which are specifi-
,cally described in E,xhibi t HA" I at tached hereto and hereby made a
