RESOLUTION NO. 2000-158
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR
TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY THE ATTACHED EASEMENT DOCUMENT
GRANTING AN EASEMENT OVER CERTAIN CITY-OWNED PROPERTY TO
PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC CO. (PG&E)
WHEREAS, the City of Fresno owns a well site located on the east side of
North Marks Avenue south of West San Jose Avenue, as shown on Attachment "A" ;
and
WHEREAS, the City is installing pumps as a part of the drainage system for
the new Marks Avenue grade separation, which will require that PG&E install a new
transformer for the power requirements; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the subject property must be dedicated to PG&E in
order to accommodate the new pad, transformer, and appurtenances thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRESNO AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Public Works Director of the City of Fresno is hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City that certain Easement document,

as prepared by PG&E and approved by the City Attorney's Office, granting
an easement over certain City-owned property described therein in favor
of PG&E to provide for a transformer and appurtenances thereto.
