WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 353 10 of the Government Code tJw

annexation; and
WHEREAS, the Local AgDnay J~ormatj,on Commission of Fresno County has heretoi'ore
approved the application for the proposed annexation herein initiated and authorized·
the Council of the City of Fresno to annex said territory vdthout notice or hearing;
and
\-lHEREAS, the Council, acting pursuant ·to such authorization, hereby de-teTwines
that the proceedings herein initiated shall be conducted and completed lIJithout the
notice and hearing otherwise required b~T law; and
WHEREAS, the Council's reasons for desiring the annexation are to facilitate
the orderly and p1anne d growth of the c:U:.y and i() make available to said terri-Gory
municipal services for developments therein; and
WHEREAS, the uninhabited territory herein annexed is designated -------
BUTLER~PEACH NO. 1-B and consists of that real property situated in the
County of Fresno, state of California, the boundaries of "which are specifically described
in Exhitit "All, attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof as if fully set lorth herein.
NOW, THERFORE, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited
'rerri tory Act of 1939, the Council hereby initiates and approves annexat,ion of' the
hereinafter-described uninhabited territorJ to the City of Fresno.

Resolution was adopted by the Council of the City of Fresno, state of Ca~ifornia, n"t

BEGINNING on the West line of Lot 105 of EASTERBY RANCHO k as
said lot is shown on the t-lap of EASTERBY RANCHO, filed in the
Office of the County Recorder, June 241 1880, and recorded
in Volume 2 of Plats at page 6, Fresno County Records, at
a point which is 492.25 feet South of the North line of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 14 South, Range 21
East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, as said Section is
shown on the united States Township Platsj being also, a point
on the existing City Limits of the City of Fresno, thence
