A RESOLU'l'ION OF THE' COlJNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRESNO, STA'l'E OF CALI FORl,H A, WITHDRA~lING
CERTAIN AREP.~ r'ROM THE MID-VALLEY COUNTY
FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT (CLAY-BACKER ~2)
WHEREAS, the city of Fresno is a municipal corporation d\11y
organized and existing under the constitution and laws ,of the
state of California, and the Council ot the city of X"xef.lf10 is
the legislative body of such city under its Charter; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 73-54 of the City of Fresno,
which ordinance became effective _____ A~p_r_i_l __ l_2 _____ , 197~t the
real property hereinafter described then situated outside the
Fresno city limits, in the County of F1;'88no, state of Califol:nia,
was annexed to the City of Fresno; And
WHEREAS, the ordinance has been filed with the Secretary of.
State, and an affidavit of completion was filed with the County
Recorder on __ -uA~P&r~~'1~2~6~ ______ ' 1971--; and
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described area at the effective
date of such annexation was and now is located within the exterior
boundaries of the Mid:"'Valley County Fire Protection District; and
WHEREAS, Section 13952 of the Health and safety Code of
California provides, in substance, that whenever any portion of
a fire proteotion district io inoluded within a city by reason
01 annexation, such portion may be withdrawn from the fire pro-
tection district, such withdrawal to be effective on the date
fixed by the legislative body of the city, which date shall not
be more than two years after said annexation proceedings are
completed;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AND DECLARE that the following des~ribed area be,
and the 8~e 1s, withdrawn from the Mid-Valley County Fire
