RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY Of1 l~lmBNO
14AKING ll.PPI,ICA'l'ION FOR APPROVAL OF PROPOSAL TO
INITIATE THE ANNEXN1'ION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED
CLf~Y -BACYJ.!:H HO. 2
TO SAID CITY
WHEREAS, the Council desires to annex the hereinafter described
terri~ory to the city of Fresno in order to facilitate the orderly
and planned growth of the citi and provide municipal services to
said territory; and
WHEREAS, the territory herein proposed to be annexed is
designated CIIIlY -BACKER NO. 2
and consists of that real property situated in the County of Fresno,
State of California, fhe boundaries of which are specifically
'described in Exhibi t A attached here~o and made a part hereof by
this reference; and
~IHE'REASJ approval of the Local Agency Formation Commission
is a necessary prerequisite to initiation of such annexation
proceedings by the Council;
NqW, ,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council hereby makes
application to the Fresno County Local Agency Formation commission
for approval of the initiation of proceedings by the Council to
annex to the City of Fresno the territory herein described.
