MAKING APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF PROPOSAL ~l'O
INITIATE THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED
DOJ JORJi:S -HARVEY NO. 1
TO SAID CITY

v7BEREl-\S, the Council desires to annex the hereinafter described
territory to the City of Fresno in order to facilitate the orderly
and planned growth of the city and provide municipal services to
said territory; and
WHEREAS, the territory herein proposed to be annexed is
designated __________ ~D~O=LO~RE~IS~-~HA~u~{~V=E~Y~I~~O~.~1 ________________________ ~ __ _
and consists of that real property situated in the County of Fresno,
State of California, the boundaries of which are specifically
described in Exhibit A attached hereto and made. a part hereof by
this referencei and
WHEREAS, approval of the IJocal Agency Formation Commission
is a necessary prerequisite to initiation of such annexation
proceedings by the Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council hereby makes
application to the Fresno county Local Agency Formation Commission
for approval of the initiation of proceedings by the Council to
.--annex to the City of Fresno the territory herein described.
