\.fHEREAS, the Administrative Code of the State of Callfo:rnJn requires that a
varlutyof DY-DUe ;mJmlllf):f.mported into this state be kept in quarantine for
a stipulated period of time in approved IodJJ tJlJIJi tmd,
\.fHEREAS, the City of Fresno haa such a facili ty which complies\dth said Code
and could provide quarantine services as a publiC8eryjcc; and,
\.ffiEREAS, . occasionally reques ta are received from zoos, universi ties J colleges. and
laboratories to hold their animal importations in quarantinelll the Roeding Park
. Zoo; and~

and the amount of care and supervision required may vary wi th the species, number,
c size , and condition of the imported animals; and,
