RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OFA DEED OF EASEMENT
WHEREAS, in October of 1969 the Ci ty of Fresno acqui red a parcel
of land located at the northeast corner of Callfornla and Hazelwood for
the purposes of developing pump Site No. 33A~
AND WHEREAS, the si te has no\'l been cleared; a \>Jel I developed,
and the site is no\» a\'Jaitingthe installation of the required pump and
motor for the production ofdemestic water;
AND WHEREAS, the paci fie Gas and Electric Company is planning to
install an underground electrical dIstrIbution system including conduits,
pipes, manholes, se-rvice boxes, \-.lires, cables, and other fixtures and
appurtenances necessary thereto; and in connecti on therewi th has asked
that the City of Fresno grant said Pacific Gas and Electric Company an
easement fo~ the installation and protection of said underground system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, for a valuable considera-
ti on, .the fol lm'li 09 easement bei n9 located in the Ci ty of Fresno, County
of Fresno, State of Caljforni~, be granted to the Pacific Gas and Elect~ic
Company, to \>Ii t:
Al I that portion of Lots 18, 19,20, and 21 in Block 9·
of Homewood, accordin9 to the map thereof recorded j n
the Office of the Recorder of said County of Fresno in
Book 7 of plats at Page 15, dcsed bed asfollov/5;
A 'stl"ip of land of the uni fOfm Nidth of 10 feet lying
equaJJyon each side of a line Nhich begins ell a point
on the northerJy boundary line of said Lot 21 from
Nhich the northeast corner of said Lot 21 bears South
89° 45 1 East 5 feet dist9nt and runs thence South
00 151 West,'parallel with and distant 5 feet westerly
from the easterly boundary line of said lots, a dlstanc.e
of 88.2 feet; thence North B9 b 45' Wcsta distance of
70 feet.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the controller be authorized to
sign all docume~ts pertaining hereto, and that the CIty Clerk of the City
of Fresno is authorized and directed tb attest said Grant Deed and cause
it to be delivered to thePaci.fic Gas & Electric CO.vtith a duly
~ertified copy of this Resolution affixed thereto.
