Fresno by the Joint Pmvers Agreement dated February 4, 1969 1
concurred in the ul timate development of smyer fad,li ties in
the rnetl:opolitan area to protect the underground 'vater supply
system, and

of Fresno of sewer facili tj es t.1i thin said \-'laten'Jorks district,
and providing :for p.:.yment and credits by and to the City of
Fresno in relation thereto, and
WHEREAS, the county of Fresno and the City of
Fresno entered into an agreement on Nay 4 J 1971 , \iherein County
agreed to pay to city from the cssessm.?nt. district fund in
Fresno County ImproVeiaent District No. 134 charges for. capacity
in and the. right to USD oxisting :J0~·,er facili ties install(>d aDd
in place in Palm AvmlUe I from Lansing 1'Jay to Ashlan Avenue,

form of agreement between the county of Fl~('sno, the city of
Fresno, and Fresno county waterworks District No. 11 for tlle
construction, ownership, Inanagement and control of sewer
facilities in said Fresno county Improvement District No. 134}
providing for tlle ci tyto make contributions in said assess-
ment district proceedings in the amount of $227}309.54. Jess
fees and charges to be paid to City from assessment district
fund in the sum of $215,957.05, for a net payment by the city
t6 the assessment district fund of $11,352.49, all as set
forth insaidagreoment,
NOW. 'l'HEREFORE ,BE IT RESOLVED the council· DpprOV(}n
the said agreement for construction, O\vn0rsl1ip, management and
control of sewer facilities in Fresno county Improvement
DiatrJct No. 134 and authorizes the Director of Public l'lorks
to sign on behalf of the city.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Controller ana
Finance Direct.or is· authorized to pay the amount to the assess-
ment district as set forth in said agreement from SEvIER
CONNECTION TRUST ACCOUNT T209.001.
BElT FURTHER RESOLVED that tl1e city Clerk is
directed to certify and transmit to the Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors a certified copy.of this resolution, and to certify
and transmit to the Clerk of the Board of Fresno County Ylater-
works District No. 1 a certified copy of this resolution.
