A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ~ . FRESNO APPROVING AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION' CONTRACT
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 52
RESOLVED, by the council of the City of Fresno, California,

WHEREAS, on sep~ember 16, 1971, the council adopted. Reso';'
lution l~O_, 71-298 approving a call for bids for construct.ion of
the improvements to be done in Assessment District No. 52, in
.a.ccordance with the intention of the council, declared in its
'Reso1Uti6rtrif p~elimihary Approval of Engineer's Report, adopEed
september 16, 1971, to call for bids for said construction, and,
toawiLrdtho work thereof, as a un.it of a larger construction
project ih the manner and for the reasons set forth in the
Engineer's Repo;rt and, in conformity wit.h thQ plans and speci-
-fications in the Englneer's Report ,herein and by the contractor
to whom said larger construction project shall be awarded by
advertisodcompetitive.biddingj and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to said call for bids, an advertisement.'

were duly and regularly received, opened, examined, and declared

WHEREAS, the lo~est bid for doing said work was submitted
by Great Valley cons~ruotion company, Inc./and was duly and

-regularly submitted and aooompanied by the required bidder's -
seourity in proper formi and,
WHEREAS, this Council, on October 7, 1971, found said ,
. G.reat Valley Construction Company, ~ Inc., to be the lowest respori-
sible bidder for said work and accepted the said bid of said
bidder and awarded a contract thereon;
-NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED, AND ORDERED
as follows:
1. The letting of a contract to Great Valley Construction
company,Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for the oon-
struction and installation of the improvements to be constructed

andinatallad in AssBBsmant District No. 52, pursuant to assess""
me~t proceedings herein undertaken; as apart of said larger
construotion projeot, is hereby ap~roved.
2. Great Valley Construction Company, Inc., shall, upon
its entering into a-contract with the City in accordance with
the requirements of the speoifications, be the contractor for
the construotion and installation of the improvements particularly
-deacribedin Resolution of Intention herein and in the plans and.
specifications therefor, contained in said Engineer's Report in
these proceedings.
