RESOJ.UTION ORDBRING CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE
lMPHOVEHEN'l'S OH VAHIOUS 6'l.'IillE'l'S IN TJJE CITY
OF FRESNO.
\'lIIEREAS I the Director of Public Works, being the Officer
whose duty it is under tho 10\1/ to have the cnre and charge of the
streets and the improvements thereof in the City of Fresno, found'
that concrete improvements have already been constructed in front
of properties constituting more than 50% in anyone block on various
streets. in the City of Fresno, and·
\'1HEREAS, the Director of Public ·l'7orks has heretofore caused
notice to be given as required by 1a\., to the O\·mers of property
having frontage on said streets not no"., improved ... Ii th such facili ties
that if construction of concrete improvements·in front of said
properties is· not commenced within 60 days from the date of said
"NOTICE TO CONSTRUCT l ', said Director will cause said construction
to be done, the cost of the same to become a lien on the property,
and .
\oJHEREAS I said notice specified this time and place for the
Council to hear and pass upon objections and protests, if any, and
NHEREAS, no objections or protests have been presented at this
hearing by any property owner or ,other interested person, except

and that if such construction in front of any of said properties is
not commenced \",i thin 60 days from the date of the hereinbefore referred
to notice to the O\.;tner of suid property and diligently and without
interruption prosecuted to comp1etion l the Director of Public Works
is directed to cause'the constructionto'be done, and the cost of such
construction shall be a lien on the property fronting thereon.
