NHf!REAS ,the m-mers of. the properties, hereinafter descrihed, have
appeared before the council of the City of Fresno Dnd have requested
that tht1 assessments for the construction ofconcrcte curbs, gutters I
and sic1C\'JalkS on said pr.operties lJ\~ paynble in annn,,1 installments for'
the reason that the placing of saj/ assessments on the regular city
tax bills would create a hardship, and
NHEREAS, section 5895 of the Streets and Hig}n'wys Code of the State
of California provides for the payment of such assessments in eXcess of
fifty dollars in equal annual installments, not to exceed ten:

AS FOLLOvlS!
1. Payments of assessments, upon confirmation for construction of
concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks on properties located ~n various
streets, as hereinafter described, in the city of Fresno, said assess-
ments being in excess of fifty doJlArs, may be made in ten equal annual
installments fromOctoher 18, 19"0 The first installment
shall be due octob-iirrs-;-'f94 ii--, and therenf tor 1 installments

2, PaYMent of the assessments so d8ferred shall benrinterest on
the unpaid balanc~ at a rate of seven per cent per annum. Said interest
shall begin to run on th~ thirty-first day afterconfirrnation of the
nssessments'by the Council.
3. Payment of such assessments shall be made to the Controller of
the City of Fresno.
