RESOLUTION NO. 70-15 -----
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTAlICE OF
REAL PROPERTY ru~D RECORDATION OF DEED
NHEREAS, it has been found there ia need to widen the north
side of Tulare St. east of Recreation, and
WHEREAS, the annexed deed, dated December 29, 1969, from
Leland c.Snell and Lorna N. Snell, granting to the city of Fresno
an easement and right of way for public street purposes over, through
and across that certain parcel of land located at and near the inter-
section of said streets, situated in the city of Fresno, County of
Fresno, state of California, and particularly described as follows:
The south 10.00 feet of the following described parcel of
real property:
The East 60.00 feet of the South 135.00 feet of Lot 6 in
Block 68 of Sierra Vista Addition No.3, as said lot is shown
on the Map of Sierra Vista Addition No.3, filed in the Office
of the County Recorder April 2B, 1922 and "recorded in Volume 9
. of Plats at page 59, Fresno County Records.
hilS been presented to this Conncil with a proposed offering of the
easement therein described to the City in consideration of the
construction by the City of concrete ~idewalk, curb, gutter, driveway
approach and payment of $250 for existing concrete improvements.
IT IS RESOLVED that said easement and right of way in the
property hereinbefore described is accepted by the City of Fresno;
that in consideration of the delivery to the city of the hereinbefore
mentioned deed, the City shall cause to be done the construction work
hereinbefore described and the Controller is authorized to pay the
funds required herein.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that tho city Clerk of said City is
directed to record said deed.
