PURPOSE
The purpose of this policy is to f amiliarize Fresno Fire Department (FFD or
Department) members with the content and creation of the Hose Page in PS-Trax .
APPLICATION
The Department uses PSTrax to track the location of hose carried on each apparatus and
is titled “Hose Page.” The Hose page replaces the outdated Apparatus Primary Inventory

referencing the Hose Page to pump the correct pressure.
OPERATIONAL GUIDELINE
Anytime hose is reloaded, changed, or replaced on an apparatus, their individual
identification numbers should be updated to the Hose Page and a new Hose Page
should be printed and added to the Apparatus Information Book .
PROCESS
An instructional tutorial video to update the Hose Page can be found using the
following link PSTrax Hose and Tarp training video or on the FFD learning
management system (LMS) at FFD Training LMS> File Center> Training> Computer
